Just before Thanksgiving, NBC Today Show host, Savannah Guthrie temporarily lost the vision when her young son accidentally threw a toy that hit her in the eye. She recently had surgery to repair the damage. We hope and pray that all goes well for Savannah. Our vision is something that most of us take for granted. Thankfully our advanced technology today can keep most of us with clear 20/20 vision either through lasik surgery, eye glasses or contacts.
As we enter into another year and a new decade, I am wondering how your spiritual vision is? How do we see the people that GOD brings into our lives? Do we see them as interruptions, nuisances or do we see people through the compassionate eyes of Jesus … “When He saw the crowds, He had compassion on them…” Matthew 9:36
As we enter 2020, let’s pray that the LORD will give us 20/20 vision for reaching lost people with the gospel. You will be hearing a lot about 2 challenging projects in the near future. First, we are partnering with World Mission in a missions project entitled ‘Change Your World’. Secondly, we are excited about an opportunity to reach our community with the gospel through the movie “Overcomer”. Save the date, February 29th and begin praying that GOD will use this tool to save a soul!
