On Monday, June 1, Governor Whitmer moved us into the Phase 4 of the Michigan Safe Start Plan. She relaxed some restrictions:
The governor’s order will allow retailers to reopen on June 4 and restaurants to reopen on June 8, both subject to capacity limits. Day camps for children will likewise be permitted to open on June 8. Effective immediately, groups of 100 or less will be allowed gather outdoors with social distancing. Office work that is not capable of being performed remotely can resume. And in-home services, including housecleaning services, can resume operations.
The board will be looking at the surveys everyone turned in while they consider when and how to restart Sunday in-person Worship Services. In the meantime, we will continue the online Worship Services.
The picnic on Sunday was a huge success. Thank you to everyone who planned, organized, and participated in this uplifting time. It was so good to see everyone!

In light of the current state of our nation, and the recent senseless killings and the violence associated with protests, we need, more than ever to pray.
Check out this wonderful Bible Study on Prayer.
Also, listen and pray along with this beautiful Prayer for Our Nation by Anne Graham Lotz. It is 20 minutes long.
