The year was 1961 and newly elected President John F. Kennedy was giving his inaugural address. One famous line from his speech is the infamous statement: “Ask not what your country can do for you but ask what you can do for your country”. During President Kennedy’s time in office, many volunteer organizations like the Peace Corp came into existence.
I would like to paraphrase President Kennedy’s statement… “Ask not what your church can do for you but ask what you can do for your church”. Allow me to briefly share 3 ways you can do something for your church…
- PRAY: We need to be praying for one another as well as our church leaders, missionaries and ministries. DON’T FORGET TO PRAY!
- PRAISE: Corporate worship is vital to our church as we come together as the Body of Christ to worship and praise God. DON’T FORGET TO PRAISE!
- PARTNER: Our church would not exist and could not function without your partnership. The partnership of your time, talent and treasure.
As we enter the summer months, I would encourage you to faithfully pray, praise and partner with us!
