Amazon Smile
Additionally, shopping online on Amazon will give the church 0.5% of the purchase when you shop with amazonsmile. It is easy to set up. Go to smile.amazon.com ,click on “Get Started”, fill in the necessary information, and then enter “Community Bible Church of Manchester” when asked to select your organization (you only have to do this once.) After doing this, update you Amazon bookmark.
The trick to giving is remembering to go to the smile.amazon.com site instead of the normal Amazon site. Some tips for doing this include:
1. Update your bookmark on you computer’s web browser to smile.amazon.com
2. If you use Google Chrome there is a browser extension available called Smile Always which automatically redirects you to smile.amazon.com in case you forget.
3. The iPhone app for Amazon does not work with Smile, but there are suggestions on the web how to add a Safari icon that takes you to smile.amazon.com instead.
