One generation shall commend your works to another, and shall declare your mighty acts. Psalm 145:4
Awana: Wednesdays 6:30-8:00 PM from October through March. The groups start at age 3 and go through 6th grade.
Each Awana night begins with a group time with songs followed by fun-filled games, a Bible lesson, snack, and a time to memorize and recite Bible verses. Each week, kids have the opportunity to earn points that can be redeemed at The Store, which is open a couple of times during the year. Other fun events include outdoor game night, Harvest Party, Christmas Party, and the Grand Prix, where children decorate and race wooden cars.
Nursery: Nursery for babies and toddlers is offered downstairs during the Sunday worship service. Parents are welcome to drop their children off before the service and pick them up afterwards. To find the nursery, turn left at the bottom of the stairs and the nursery will be at the end of the hall on the left.
Jr. Church: During the Sunday sermon, children ages 4-10 are invited to attend Jr. Church from about 10:30-11:15. The children are dismissed from the worship service just prior to the sermon. The teacher for the week will accompany students from the sanctuary to the classroom downstairs. We are currently studying the Book of Genesis using the Answers in Genesis Bible Curriculum. Each week includes a Bible Lesson from Genesis, along with songs, games, Bible verse memorization, and prayer time.
