WEDNESDAYS
Beyond AWANA is for ages 3 – 6th grade and meets April 9- September 24, 5:30-8:00 pm. Dinner is provided. There is Bible Study time, Games/ Craft time, Snack and Worship Time. Game time is a fun outdoor time. This is fun for all the kids.
Youth Group is a program for 7th-12th grades that includes singing, Bible study, food and fun. It has the same schedule as AWANA, 5:30-8:00 on Wednesdays, and it meets year round, with the same days off as AWANA and Beyond AWANA. The purpose is to ground these youth in the Christian Faith with more in-depth Bible study while giving them opportunities to bond with one another. Monthly outings are planned. Leaders: Ron Tindall and Katherine Walters.
Our AWANA program meets Wednesdays from 5:45-7:45 pm October – March with fun, singing, games and Bible learning for kids ages 3 through 6th grade. Dinner is provided 5:45-6:15 pm. Games, Bible teaching and Bible class follow with a 15 minute worship time in the sanctuary at the end. AWANA is an international, non-denominational, Bible-centered youth organization that provides weekly clubs for children. AWANA clubs are designed to build truth and moral character into the lives of our youth. It emphasizes Bible Memory and awards prizes.
SUNDAYS
Nursery: Nursery for babies and toddlers is offered downstairs during the Sunday worship service. Parents are welcome to drop their children off before the service and pick them up afterwards. To find the nursery, turn left at the bottom of the stairs and the nursery will be at the end of the hall on the left.
Jr. Church: Children ages 4-11 are invited to attend Jr. Church from about 10:30-11:15. The children are dismissed from the worship service just prior to the sermon. The teacher for the week will accompany students from the sanctuary to the classroom downstairs. We are studying the Old Testament using the Answers in Genesis Bible Curriculum. Each week includes a Bible Lesson, along with songs, games, Bible verse memorization, and prayer time.
